Composite nucleons in scalar and vector mean fields.

چکیده
We emphasize that the composite structure of the nucleon may play quite an important role in nuclear physics. It is shown that the momentum-dependent repulsive force of second order in the scalar field, which plays an important role in Dirac phenomenology, can be found in the quark-meson coupling (QMC) model, and that the properties of nuclear matter are well described through the quarkscalar density in a nucleon and a self-consistency condition for the scalar field. The difference between theories of point-like nucleons and composite ones may be seen in the change of the ω-meson mass in nuclear matter if the composite nature of the nucleon suppresses contributions from nucleon-antinucleon pair creation. Casimir effects of nano objects in fluctuating scalar and electromagnetic fields: Thermodynamic investigating
Casimir entropy is an important aspect of casimir effect and at the nanoscale is visible. In this paper, we employ the path integral method to obtain a general relation for casimir entropy and internal energy of arbitrary shaped objects in the presence of two, three and four dimension scalar fields and the electromagnetic field. For this purpose, using Lagrangian and based on a perturb...
متن کاملAuxiliary Potentials In Chiral Media
In the present paper, the expressions for scalar and vector potentials in lossless isotropic chiral media are analyzed. Propagating eigenvalues of these potentials are then obtained. Furthermore by decomposition of sources and fields in a chiral medium, we introduce the auxiliary right-and left-handed potentials and find the associated fields. These potentials are used to solve the problem of a...
متن کاملAntikaons and hyperons in nuclear matter with saturation
We evaluate the antikaon and hyperon spectral functions in a self-consistent and covariant many-body approach. The computation is based on coupled-channel dynamics derived from the chiral SU(3) Lagrangian. A novel subtraction scheme is developed that avoids kinematical singularities and medium-induced power divergencies all together. Scalar and vector mean fields are used to model nuclear bindi...
متن کاملClassical Hadrodynamics: a New Approach to Ultrarelativistic Heavy-ion Collisions
We discuss a new approach to ultrarelativistic heavy-ion collisions based on classical hadrodynamics for extended nucleons, corresponding to nucleons of finite size interacting with massive meson fields. This new theory provides a natural covariant microscopic approach that includes automatically spacetime nonlocality and retardation, nonequilibrium phenomena, interactions among all nucleons an...
متن کاملHypernuclei and in-medium chiral dynamics
A recently introduced relativistic nuclear energy density functional, constrained by features of low-energy QCD, is extended to describe the structure of hypernuclei. The density-dependent mean field and the spin-orbit potential of a Λ-hyperon in a nucleus, are consistently calculated using the SU(3) extension of in-medium chiral perturbation theory. The leading long-range ΛN interaction arises...
